THE COOLEST MILITARY THING EVER post by Shelby Stafford

I found this article and thought it was THE COOLEST thing especially because I love almost anything to do with the military. This article is about the military's new wish to make smart wound-diagnosing uniforms and new drones!! I thought this would be a great topic for the blog to see people's reactions or even their ideas on how to accomplish these things. Let me know. Thank you.

  1. This seems like something out of a video game. However, I like the concept. It seems like it could quickly speed up response time of medical treatment. This could be especially efficient if the soldier is unconscious. However, the drawback that I see most apparent is the material the suit is made out of. Will it be stiff? If so it may hinder the soldiers mobility. Will it be a tight fit in order to make contact with different body parts? If so it could possibly not provide as much protection as the current uniforms do.

  2. This is such an awesome new idea that may come into practice! Robots are definitely the future. I can't wait to see all the things that are going to be done without the need of people within the next 50 years. I like the idea of the army using a more simple verson of this technology for things like border patrol and guarding stuff. It its applying the new technology to things that they actually need. I feel like cost is going to be a big factor in whether or not this launches sooner rather than later. I can't imagine a machine that can do preliminatry doctors checks before an actual person arrives on the military scene! Pretty cool!
